The CCFMS is headquarted in Toronto, ON, is a non-profit federation of rock, mineral and lapidary clubs for hobbyists in central Canada.
The NPGS host many field trips around southern Ontario, and other places farther afield. They also have a Facebook page.
The Kingston club provides a positive environment for local rockhounds, lapidary enthusiasts and silversmiths.
The Scarborough club aims to encourage and promote all aspects of the hobby of collecting and studying rocks, minerals and fossils and of pursuing all types of lapidary work, provide a forum for the free exchange of information and ideas regarding the hobby, and conserve natural resources.
The society has monthly speakers, arranges field trips, and holds classes in lapidary.
The society has a fully equipped lapidary workshop for the use of the membership. During the fall and winter months, courses in lapidary arts and silver smithing are offered according to demand.
The federation headquarters are in Winfield, BC.
